The External Relations Department (ExRel) prepares MEAns for the real-world job market by providing external opportunities, internships, and avenues for learning.
ExRel connects MEAns to opportunities outside of the organization. Specifically, the department works with MEA's partners to create shared value through organized events and joint projects. In doing so, we build on MEA's external identity as a talent pool of future business leaders. By successfully carrying out these functions, the department serves as the center for the career-building needs of MEAns.
Internally, the department values its members' growth and development. We aim to develop key skills related to communication, project design and project management, needs-assessment, and negotiation. To take learning further, we provide opportunities for the practical application of these skills through corporate meetings, real-life negotiations, project planning, and activation executions.
A proactive External Relations Department that provides value-centric opportunities through sustainable partnerships and initiatives.
Fostering a culture of growth, ownership, and transparency that maximizes the potential of MEAns.
This is an index of connections that MEAns can tap into for their projects and initiatives. MEAns can also request to find a specific speaker or a speaker with a specific profile.
Through the deployment of ExRel associates, project managers and core members alike are able to communicate their ExRel-related needs such as speakers and partners.
